...had a great discussion in honor of Holocaust Memorial Day, which marks the day the Soviet Red Army liberated the largest of the Nazi Extermination Camps at Auschwitz-Birkenau which lies just outside of Krakow, Poland. We discussed current events and their potential connections to the Holocaust, also the reality that the internet age has made propaganda rampant on all sides of the political spectrum, and we looked at images related to the Holocaust and genocide and had open and honest conversations. Wish everyday could simply be like today way...alas, relentless AP World never stops (until the test is over), so don't forget to put in work this weekend. Aside from the hard-work, and potential college credit, the most important thing you are all doing is learning history so that hopefully, at some point, we will stop the recurring cycles we discussed today. - Bags
